Lavender is one of the top-known scents that have been used in many fragrances and oils, as a middle note the sweet and delicate scent is smelled instantly. It is a flowering plant in the mint and floral family with herbal and balsamic undertones, a genus of close to 50 known species. Besides being known for its scent, it is also identified by its color which is a light shade of purple that has been used as a color term since 1705. The lavender plant even traces back to ancient Egypt used as a bath additive, perfume, and freshening up. Since then, its therapeutic value has been used in oils, topical uses, and herbal tea.  

Modern scientific findings
